Lenten Dinners: Every Wednesday during Lent.

Lent begins with Ash Wednesday and ends with our Easter celebration. Many faith traditions encourage “giving up” or sacrificing something during Lent. Presbyterians, just to be different, have chosen to “take on” something, to study, discern and learn. To help us do that, and to continue the Presbyterians’ love of church dinners, we are hosting a series of Lenten Dinners and Programs .

Each week we will gather on Wednesday evening about 6:15. The plan is to eat dinner at 6:30 and begin the program about 7. Dinner Captains, the person responsible for planning and executing the meal are being recruited. If you are willing to be a Dinner Captain, please contact Rebecca.

The First Week: Wednesday February 25 will feature a do-it-yourself turkey bowl. The recipe is called Turkey Stacki-Uppi. There will be plenty of roast turkey breast, GF and DF gravy, rice, lettuce and many of toppings for either a rice or salad bowl. The dessert will be tiramisu.

Look for sign up sheets to donate an item for a meal or to attend.

This is not a potluck. You do not need to bring a dish to attend.
