The Tigard company recycling Styrofoam and #6 plastics has ceased operations. They are no longer collecting polystyrene for recycling. That means we have no place at this time to take these plastics for recycling.
We are saddened by this change. We have enjoyed the opportunity to help reduce the pressure on our landfills and provide a service to our community.
Please do not leave polystyrene products at the church. These will now have to be placed in your own garbage until we are able to find another way to recycle these items.
