The Green Team is hoping to make the change from paper to cloth napkins for our fellowship events, including coffee hours. Can we do it?
It has been suggested that we use 100% cotton fabric for new napkins, since they would be easier to keep clean. Cotton does not stain as easily as fiber blends.
Questions to consider:
- Should we use smaller napkins for coffee hour and larger napkins for meals?
- Should we request donations of cloth napkins that people are no longer using at home?
- Should we make them all the same or mix and match?
- How many would be enough?
