2017 Lenten Dinner Series

KPC doesn’t believe in giving up things for Lent. We believe in adding things – adding knowledge and understanding of God’s world and our part in it. This year we are focusing on learning more about some of the values we affirm.

Thursday, March 9:

WE AFFIRM JUSTICE AND MERCY: Ron Steiner of Oregonians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty is the speaker.

We gather at 6:15 pm with dinner at 6:30. Program starts about 7 pm. There is no charge for the dinner, but a donation basket will be available. The meal will be lamb stew with vegetarian options available.

Thursday, March 16:

Thursday, March 23:

WE AFFIRM DIVERSITY: Eric Nzayiramya, a former refugee in Rwanda, shares his story. We will also learn more about the work of the organization “These Numbers Have Faces.”
